Hello all! Today I have my first nail polish post (for this blog) to share with you. I used to have a blog dedicated just to nail polish, but sadly I didn't have the time to keep up with it anymore (you can check it out here if you're interested, it's a bit sad and forgotten though!) My polish swatching/photography skills are a little out of practice, but I'm sure I'll pick it up again in time. You can expect the occasional polish post here when my nails behave and don't break as they have been lately. But on to today's post, this is Tabebuia Rain by Femme Fatale Cosmetics.

Tabebuia Rain - Femme Fatale Cosmetics
Description from the website: A light grey with reddish overlay and pink microglitters in various tones.
My thoughts: I'm a sucker for delicate polishes, and this one is delicate with just that little pop of edginess in those bright pink glitters. The reddish-pink shimmer really pulls this one together and is so pretty and shimmery in the sunlight.
Application: Smooth and fluid. I had no problem with glitter placement and the wide brush is really easy to use. I used 3 coats in my swatches, but could have easily only done 2.
Packaging: 9ml glass bottle with round lid that's easy to hold and a wide brush. Femme Fatale polishes also come boxed.
Availability: Sold out. Tabebuia Rain was Femme Fatale's Colour Of The Month (COTM) for March 2015 and unfortunately won't be returning in the foreseeable future. April's COTM however will be available from April 1st on the Femme Fatale website along with their newest collection inspired by the Brothers Grimm version of Snow White.
Would I recommend it: Yes.
Thanks for reading!
xx Anthea
