Reverie Roundup! (2)

Hello all, and welcome to the 2nd edition of Reverie Roundup, the place where once a fortnight I list a bunch of stuff that I like. Brace yourselves, here we go!

Metallic Dinosaur Crop and Skirt - Lashes of London
Availability: $63 AUD (crop) and $69 AUD (skirt) from ASOS.
When I was living in Japan back in 2013 I went to an exhibit all about dinosaurs, and it sparked a deep-seated fascination for me. What were these creatures that roamed the world so long ago? It seems that we keep discovering new details that completely disprove what we thought we knew. Did you know that apparently they had feathers even though they didn't fly? Me either. Anyway, I love dinosaur things, and I also love sparkly things, so when I saw this crop and skirt set on ASOS I knew I had to have it. I mean c'mon, it's got glittery green dinosaurs ALL OVER IT. Enough said. While I don't hold high hopes for the upcoming Jurassic World movie, I do hope that it prompts more dinosaur pieces to be produced.

Moroccan Gloss, Pure Argan Oil - Edward Beale
Availability: $15.99 AUD from Priceline.
About 6 or 7 months ago, at the ripe old age of 26, I dyed my hair for the first time ever. One of the reasons I had never done it before was because I didn't want to risk damaging it. I decided to dye just the ends, so if they got too dry and gross I could just chop them off. My ends were understandably a little dry at first since my hair needed to be bleached before the pink dye could be put in, but this stuff fixed that in a jiffy and I've been using it ever since. I spray a bit through my ends after washing it (while it's still wet) and it keeps my hair looking healthy and glossy. I don't recommend using it on dry hair however, as it can leave it looking greasy.

Textured Hologram Make Up Bag - ASOS
Availability: $19.50 AUD from ASOS.
I don't really have much to say about this, because the photo says it all. I mean c'mon, LOOK AT IT. It's beautiful colour-shifting perfectness. This is meant to be a make up bag, but I use it as a case for my colouring pens.

Hubba Bubba, Outrageous Original - Wrigley's
Availability: $1.20 AUD from Tom's Confectionery Warehouse.
Yes, food will sometimes make it into the Reverie Roundup. I absolutely LOVE original flavoured bubblegum, and years ago when I was a kid it was readily available here in Australia. These days though, not so much. You usually have to go to specialty candy stores to find it. Last week I was at Tom's Confectionery Warehouse here in Brisbane so I stocked up. *POP!*

Smile - Sheppard
Availability: Listen here. Also available on CD and MP3 files.
Just like food, music will sometimes appear on this list too. Smile by Australian group Sheppard has been playing on the radio for a few months at least, but this past week in particular it's really been stuck in my head. It's happy and sweet, and just really easy to listen to. The video is fun and light-hearted and just a little bit silly (in the best way possible). And lead singer Amy's blue hair? Gorgeous. I can't wait to see what these guys come up with next.

And that complete the 2nd edition of Reverie Roundup!

Thanks for reading!
xx Anthea
