Hello all, and welcome to the 3rd edition of Reverie Roundup, the place where once a fortnight I list a bunch of stuff that I like. Here we go!
Textured Ring - Small Green Leaf
Availability: $40 AUD from Clare Poppi.
Small Green Leaf is the work of Brisbane artist Clare Poppi. I've been loving simplistic pieces of jewellery lately, and I've been wearing this ring on my pinkie for quite some months now. I love how the texturing effect that Clare has applied to the otherwise plain band adds an organic quality and depth. All of Clare's pieces are made from recycled silver, so there's the added element of knowing that your piece holds secrets of a past life and hasn't been sourced directly from a mine. This particular piece isn't listed on Clare's website, however if you contact her I'm certain that she'll be more than happy to hook you up and will help you determine your size. If you tell her that you want a textured ring like Anthea's she should know what you mean! She also attends several markets and events around Australia if you would prefer to buy from her in person.

Lauren Carney aka Dizzy Little Dotty is the second Brisbane artist in this Reverie Roundup. I love supporting local talent, and Lauren is just a delight! Arrows for my Enemies (pink hair) and The Hunter (aqua hair) are 2 separate artworks available as A4 prints. I currently have both hanging from the walls in our living room and they always receive comments of admiration from visitors, even my partner's 80-something year old grandparents loved them! If you like these 2 little ladies you should keep an eye on Lauren's website and Instagram (@dizzylittledotty) as I believe she has some exciting new things coming soon!

Availability: $129.95 AUD (on sale at time of post) for Queen size from Adairs.
Although it's still annoyingly hot here in Brisbane, I'm hopeful that Autumn weather will hit us aaaaaaany day now (wishful thinking, I know). With this in mind, I went out and bought a new quilt cover. My partner said it's "too girly", but really what does he know anyway? This quilt cover by Mercer and Reid has a lovely silky feel to it, and the colours brighten our room without being too over the top. I also bought the deer cushion, because how could I resist? Plus it was also on sale ($29.95 AUD). Enough said.

Availability: $2.80 AUD from Daiso.
Yeeeup, another foodie item has entered the Reverie Roundup. Have I mentioned before that I love food? As far as I'm concerned, Lychee Iced Tea by Pokka is the king of all bottled iced teas. I get cravings for the stuff. Daiso occasionally sells it, but you can also often find it at Asian grocers, random independently franchised stores such as Foodworks or IGA, and in some Japanese restaurants.

Availability: $10.45 AUD from Femme Fatale Cosmetics, or $8 USD from Shiro.
Teach Me Howie To Love is my first loose powder blush, and I'm loving it! I have to admit that application took some practice as I'm used to using pressed powder blushes and I had scarily brown cheeks the first time I used this, but now that I have the hang of it I've been wearing this daily. It's a lovely deep warm rose colour, maybe a tad bronze, with the subtlest of shimmers. Perfect for achieving a healthy glow during the cooler months. I may swatch this in future, blush swatches aren't something that I've tried before, but we'll see how I go!
And that completes another edition of Reverie Roundup!
Thanks for reading!
xx Anthea
