Hello all! Today I have another Femme Fatale Cosmetics nail polish review for you. I know my blog has been focused on Shiro and Femme Fatale a lot, they just happen to be the brands that I've worn a lot of lately. I promise you there are some reviews of other brands coming. Unfortunately my nails are still looking a little sad and short, but I do think they're slowly regaining their strength. Hopefully they'll resemble the way they looked in their glory days soon!

Ever Elusive - Femme Fatale Cosmetics
Description from the website: A sheer crelly mauve base with pink-copper-gold-green flakies, gold holo, and pink accents.
My thoughts: Ummmm....WOW! This polish is such a chameleon! I really can't put it into words, so you'll just have to stare at the photos (that shouldn't be a problem though, right?) This polish mostly appears as a stunning shiny shade of magenta due to the pink shimmer in it, but get it on the right angle in the right light and those flakies really steal the show. Keep in mind that the base is sheer as stated on the website. Personally it's just a little too sheer for my liking, but I understand that if the base was heavier it would probably hide the gorgeous flakies. It's not sheer enough to make me avoid it, but if it was a concern it could easily be layered over a creme polish of a similar colour to solve the problem. A bonus FYI for any WoW players reading this, Ever Elusive was inspired by Ashes of Al'ar (the name makes sense now doesn't it).
Application: My photos show 3 coats, and I didn't have any problems with application.
Packaging: 9ml glass bottle with round lid and a wide brush. Femme Fatale polishes also come boxed.
Availability: Sold out. Ever Elusive was a polish available exclusively to members of the Femme Fatale Fiends Facebook group. If you're not a member of the group, I really recommend joining, as I'm sure there are bound to be more group exclusives in future (plus there's other great perks to being a part of the group).
Would I recommend it: Yes.
Thanks for reading!
xx Anthea
